In ye Middle Ages a knight was known by word of mouth and what he had one.
Let the best knights be known by what the common man in the cheap seats says about him, and by the list of victories his squire reads before battle.
One of the best things about this sport is that it's organic and authentic. Please keep it that way. If a total newcomer should beat a famous old hand then so be it, clearly the newcomer was a better fighter that day. There can be no lies in combat, only steel and skill.

Russian national team again won WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP on historical medieval battle "Battle of The Nations" which took place on May 9-12 in the city Aigues-Mortes in southern France. 22 national teams from different countries participated in this grand event. They represent Australia, Argentina, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, The UK, Denmark, Germany, Israel, Spain, Italy, Canada (Quebec), Luxembourg, New Zealand, Poland, the Baltic States (Estonia + Latvia), Russia, USA, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic + Slovakia, Japan. Battles went in categories "duel 1 vs 1", "group battles 5 vs 5", "mass battles 21 vs 21" and "friendly buhurts all vs all". Present to you the results of the Championship.
